Located at 165 km far from Kathmandu . Tourism in Sauraha was started in 1977 with a few lodges. Today number of lodges has reached more than 150. The average cost of the package was $50-$300 per tourist on different seasons.

Located at 170 KM. far from Kathmandu , Meghauli village is the western part of Chitwan where the fantastic game Elephant Polo' is played. It has the potentiality of management resort. Bordering in the Chitwan National Park , the oldest park of Nepal , one can go to tiger tops via this village. So it can be called as the main gate of Tiger Tops. Meghauli village covers around the 10 km. of National park and touched both Rapti and Narayani river. Comparatively this village is more attractive than other place of Chitwan. The rafters after a long exciting and adventurous White River rafting come to have rest here and can watch the breathtaking scenery around it.
