You can become involved in a variety of community aid projects in Nepal. This program has something for everyone.
You have the opportunity to work directly with children from children’s homes, teach English to adults or children, provide education on healthcare practices, take part in building/maintenance, gardening and special stone projects (which is first time in Nepal and concept by director of Future Nepal), or choose to enjoy a cultural exchange homestay.
One Stone Project
We are opening a new project for volunteers. This project is for all International volunteers including Nepali volunteers. For this Project volunteers works with village people In this village Volunteers create ideas and apply them. We want to introduce villages around the world built by volunteers. For this stone project volunteers help build green park , Green road, playgrounds, Gardens, Research centers, Education Center, Income Training Center, Health care Center, Tower, Beach in the river, Sports fields etc. In this project any support group, volunteers think and minimum collect one kg. stone or Rs. 1 perday each persone(yearly 365 kg stone or 365 Rs. Nepali) on this project to build and success the project. This type of program can be done any part of the nation. First we make stone committee then program. Program may be one week to extend one year. If we go 1 month to 1 year program called stone revolution. If you go 1 day to 1 month called stone festival. (we collect stone yearly base in one project)

This concept developed and designed first time in Nepal by Bishnu Prasad Poudel. This concept first applied in Meghauli-8, Chitwan. Which is perfectly success. Rest of the construction part will be going to built continusly by volunteers. We are going to apply this type of program most part of Nepal in future.

Requirements
No specific requirements. Most projects are available to volunteers aged 18+. Volunteers should be motivated and committed to the entire lenght of the project.

Organic Farming and Permaculture: As a volunteer with Organic Farming and Permaculture project, you will gain hands-on experience helping the farmers, students and local communities to cultivate and harvest organic crops, vegetables, fruits, herbs through sustainable farming methods. If you are new to organic farming and permaculture, then you can learn from the host and local farmers. We have several vibrant farms where a variety of vegetables, crops, fruits and herbs now thrive within the Kathmandu Valley, Chitwan and Pokhara.

English Teaching
The aim of this project is to give students a good command of the English language as well as a better foundation in academic subjects than is available in the public school system. Volunteer teachers get a chance to live the adventure of a real immersion experience while providing a quality global education to the students at the school and a culturally broadening experience to the rest of the local community.

Teaching at monastery:
In this project you will be educating Buddhist monks in the age range of approximately 5-16 years old. In The monastery at any given time there around 30 to 40 monks, of which there will be 2 classes, one for seniors and one for junior students. Future Nepal will provide you with a guide to planning lessons for the students but it encouraged that you compose your own lessons and games for the students to keep them stimulated.

Community Children Library: Future Nepal has just established a new children library project in rented house at Meghauli Village in Chitwan district. The purpose of this library is to provide a beneficial learning resource for community children from all the caste. So we need wide variety of books and educational materials. We welcome to volunteer to help this library by assisting library, teaching to children, supporting children books and materials, donations etc.

Make a Difference in the Lives of Children
The focus of this project is to improve the lives of impoverished children, supporting their education, diet, families and communities. Volunteers are required to help run the kindergarten/day care centre, getting involved in activities such as teaching (English, maths, remedial reading etc), computer classes and sports education. Volunteers are also support to the physical, educational, emotional, and health activities.
